Monkey Mangrove Boat Tour

This tour was fun and informative for the entire family. The kids loved the boat ride to see the different animals and plants. Our guide Elias was extremely friendly and knowledgeable about the mangroves. On the tour, we saw monkeys, lizards, birds, and a hummingbird nest along with two different types of mangroves. We had a beautiful sunshine day and the monkeys were really active. We had a private tour of the mangroves and they even gave us fresh fruit and quesadillas after the boat ride. I highly recommend this tour!
This is a must for the whole family!

Sebastian was our guide on the best outing we did in our two weeks in Costa Rica. We’ve seen lots of monkeys, lizards and beautiful birds (hawk, herons and others) and more. Sebastian was knowledgeable, super friendly and he loves and respect wild life, something very important to us. We got to taste dragon fruits fresh of the cactus, feed birds and learn on the palm oil production in the vicinity and all that before the boat tour even started. After the boat tour, he served us fresh and delicious papaya and ananas with a glass of cold iced tea. We were enchanted and can’t recommend it enough. If you visit Costa Rica, do yourself a favour and go meet Sebastian and take the tour. You’ll unlock a new core memory for the whole family to cherish for the rest of your lives.
Great tour of the mangroves

Elias was a great tour guide and was very knowledgeable of the mangrove. We also got to tour the eco farm so that was also a nice experience. Overall, a lovely experience.
A fun expedition for a rainy day

We were not able to go in kayaks because the current was too strong so we went in the boat instead. Elias was the most enthusiastic and knowledgable guide. Really passionate about the ecosystem and the creatures in it. We saw basilisks, capuchins, herons, crabs, kingfishers and ibis. But Elias really made it for us. And delicious fruit at the end.
Top tour!

We took the Boat Tour of the estuary/mangrove and it was fun. We rode in a small boat with a total of 5 people including our captain/tour guide. Im not sure that is common as we saw a larger boat that probably had 20 people on it. We feel we got a better tour where we could interact with our guide more. Saw monkeys, unique birds, like tiger throated herron, a turtle, lots of kingfishers, several Jesus Lizards running across water, etc. After the tour, we even got to pet a water buffalo ! Never would have expected that in a million years. Our guide was very friendly, spoke wonderful English was was a delight to be around (like just about every Tico we encounted in our 10 days in Costa Rica). I would recommend this company for any of their tours.
