Edgar is the absolute man! He is enthusiastic and excited to help us learn! He tied in CR history into the tour and went out of the way to spot hard to find animals! 10/10

Although bad weather started coming in, our guide Jorge was able not only spot some great reptiles and amphibians for us, but helped us get some great photos!

TOUR GUIDE: MICHELLE (INFORMATIVE, ENTHUSIASTIC, POLITE, COOL, ATTENTIVE AND THE BEST GUIDE)
An amazing, unique experience!

It was pouring heavily before our night jungle tour began -- there was a chance that the tour would be rescheduled, but then the rain stopped. We are a family of 5. Our tour guide was Fabio -- he is soft spoken, but excellent! It was muddy around the lagoon, and dark inside the jungle. But the paths were clearly identifiable, and Fabio did a fabulous job spotting different types of frogs (including the red eyed tree frog), lizards, bats, etc. The highlight, of course, were the snakes we saw, mainly a medium sized Fer-de-lance, one of the most poisonous snakes in the world! The dinner was excellent as well! Overall, we highly recommend this tour.
Night hike through the heart of the jungle

Booked this tour through one of the resorts in Quepos/Manuel Antonio area. They picked us up promptly that evening just before sunset. The drove us to the top of a rocky road leading to the park passing along the resident area along the way. The guides told us about the park and its history along the ride.
Once we got the guides gave us flashlights and a told us what to expect. The group split into 2 (4 and 5 participants in each). The hike started by a man-made pond with tons of frogs. Then the hike got a little more difficult climbing down through narrow and uneven terrain, and through some tires used as steps. You have to be sure footed to take this tour, but it's do-able for most active people.
Our guide pointed out plenty of wildlife, including toads, various frogs, snakes, and insects. I'm an amateur photographer and they were patient enough that I was able to get some good shots. Our guide, told us about the wildlife we found and about the environment we were walking through. Very informative.
Afterwards they gave us dinner, arroz con pollo which was very good. Then they drove us back to our resort. I would do it again.
Beautiful Night hike

We were super lucky to get the same guide we had at Manuel Antonio for this tour too, Edgar!
He again was super knowledge, friendly, funny and SO good at spotting things. We even saw glass frogs! He helped everyone get a picture of the animals with their phones which was so nice
We watched as he called it to the red eyed tree frog and as it answered he would search for it and actually found two!
10/10 recommend Edgar and this tour!
Must do it!

To see the jungle at night is a unique experience. Henry was excellent - he showed us different kinds of frogs - red eyed, bullfrog, glass, hour glass, rain, masked tree frogs, bird eating snake and viper snake, toads, geiko lizard. He shared a lot of interesting information. The tour finished with a delicious meal of fried rice and chicken and a juice made of pine apple, rice and cinnamon.
Henri loves animals and knows a lot about them. He made sure that he answered all our queries and introduced us to a unique experience. Would recommend it to all.
