Tour with Edgar!!!
J9Alter, 26-09-2022
Edgar was a fantastic guide. He speaks both English and Spanish and can do the tour fluidly in both languages. He pointed out so many animals that we never would have seen (like a million tadpoles in a clear teardrop shaped pod way up in a tree!). He was great with our two girls, who asked multiple questions, and even challenged him on his animal knowledge (thank you, Wild Kratts!) And he made sure that we saw some howler monkeys, sloths, capuchin monkeys, and some lizards. He also picked us up from our AirBnB and took us home, stopping traffic along the way, to pull over for us to see a parrot in the trees along the road. Amazing. Thank you, Edgar!
Best tour from my short time in Costa Rica

We start with a group of 4, that’s perfect. Our Tour guide was Royvin Acre. He was a amazing guide, take time to see everything, explain the history of Manuel Antonio National Park and showed us a lot of plants and explained that. Great, and we saw so much frogs, a snake, spiders, monkeys, birds, slots and …….
It was a unbelievable morning for me and end up with relaxing on the amazing beach.
Royvin, I definitly would do the Tour again with you. If I will go to a second trip to Costa Rica i would do the Night Tour.
Thanks again.
I definitly can recommend the guided tour. Without a guid you never would see so much animals.
Roy was excellent!

Royvin Arce was our tour guide and he was excellent. He ensured we understood what dangerous plants and animals we might come across. Roy answered all questions any of us asked. He was extremely knowledgeable. My parents had gone to the park alone in the past. They said going with Roy was far better because he was able to point out wildlife and share information about the park. Based on our experience my family highly recommends this tour.
Pleasant day

We had such a good time, thanks in large part to our guide, Edward. He was thoroughly knowledgeable and responsive to our questions. In addition, he was just a really funny and nice guy.
The tour was excellent. We saw sloths, monkeys, Jesus christ lizards...and so much more.
Also, we took a half hour break at the beach (which is beautiful), so wear your swimsuit if you wanna jump in!
Beautiful and interesting

Looking to see monkeys, sloths, birds, butterflies, iguanas, etc., this is your tour. A guide is so helpful to have to see it all. Plus, the beach stop is a perfect break.
Outstanding Tour

After having a great experience with Jade Tours on my last trip to Manuel Antonio National Park, I decided to use them again and am so happy I did. We were picked up at our hotel at 720am and after a couple of other stops, we arrived at the entrance gate for the tour at 8am. Our guide was knowledgeable and professional and was a great communicator. There were around 10 on the tour and our guide made sure everyone was able to spot the wildlife through his scope and made sure great photos were obtained. He was enthusiastic about his work, and you could sense that other guides at the park had a lot of respect for him because of his experience as they seemed to be coming up to him with questions and for assistance. The tour was to end at 1030am with transport back to the hotel but we chose to stay longer at the beach and hike around Cathedral Point, then caught our hotel shuttle back but we could have also grabbed an Uber.
Not to be missed!!

Our guide was Danny. Just exemplary in every way!! Friendly, funny, knowledgeable, organized, and very passionate about discovering and explaining local flora and fauna. We were lucky enough to see both types of sloths, 2 species of monkeys, colorful birds and moths, and unusual bats, trees, and plants. He was the most excited person in the group. Danny, you rock!! Thanks for a very memorable experience!!!
So many cool things to see - with the help of a great guide!

Visiting the National Park is a must do when you visit Manuel Antonio, but you also should definitely go with a professional guide. There is no way we would have been able to spot half of the animals/creatures without our awesome guide Roy with Costa Rica Jade Tours. It was amazing how quickly and easily he spotted things and set his spotting scope up so that we could see perfectly as well. We learned a lot about the animals and the forest as well from Roy!
Go with a guide!!!

We organised a guide just for our family of 6. We had Royvin Acre and he was fantastic. Genuinely nice person, really good at his job. I feel like we would have just walked along and seen almost nothing if we didn’t have him. Saw lots of sloths, a tamandua (ant eater who’s face looks like General Grievous!!!), monkeys, Kool spiders, birds, bats. The beach there is also quite beautiful.
