We had amazing time with DK our guide from paddle 9. It was our first time paddle boarding the open ocean. DK was patient and made us both feel comfortable. DK is local and more than willing to share his knowledge of the area and his country. The trip included a great retelling of “la macha”. Not just a day trip we felt as though we made a friend. Great company

Tommy was our driver and was so nice and pleasant. Alejandro was our guide and he was AMAZING! Super knowledgeable in the history of the coastline and gave us all the tips and trades of how to successfully paddle board. He was patient as well! We stopped at a secluded beach and had some fresh pineapple for a snack and the whole experience was absolutely amazing. Can’t wait to come back and do this experience again with our new local friends! Here’s a tip: WEAR SUNSCREEN and don’t forget your legs!

This was a great paddle board tour! 3 hours is a good amount of time because it’s definitely a workout. DK was our guide and he told some great stories and was fun to chat with. I get anxious about waves and I felt very safe with DK in charge! He’s a very knowledgeable surfer and it was amazing how he could read the waves. 10/10 would recommend this tour.
Love these guys!!! Don’t miss!

I can’t say enough good things about this company. We had an unfortunate circumstance where my boyfriend hurt his ACL and we had to change from the waterfall tour to paddle boarding. They did it with a smile and on the spot and we had an amazing time. Ismael ( la Bala de Gómez) and Roberto ( Rasta) were professional accommodating and very fun!!! We laughed and sang to Bob Marley in the car! We felt like locals!!
Manuel Antonio by sea, a great morning

Today was the day after my birthday. I treated myself to the ocean paddleboard tour of the Paddle9 Manuel Antonio coastline adventure and had a truly wonderful experience. I was the only customer due to the CoViD 19 pandemic, and was concerned my guide would have to spend his time and energy for only me... "Oh no, you're going to take out only one guy, I can reschedule when you get more clients!"
My guide answered "of course for one person, and I'm happy to do it!"
The day was partly sunny and we were the only ones to be on the water, like having that piece of the Pacific with brown Pelicans and Frigate Birds watching us paddle our way out to the moving waters. Cliffs, islands, birds, sky, rocky shorelines, and a great experience with Matty giving you details about the skills needed to stay on top of your board and get an incredible workout. The safety was a top priority, and I felt well schooled.
I live here in Manuel Antonio, and for locals or tourists who enjoy the scenery and adventure of a water board tour, this is for you. I had a wonderful birthday and treated myself smartly to this fun and healthy adventure. From my door-to-ocean, water, snacks, pictures, and back home again, I was in good hands.
