Awesome kayaking experience...

Awesome kayaking experience, including offshore snorkeling filled with tropical fish. Guide identified a variety of birds throughout the kayaking trip, located two sloth's during the short stop at a quiet beach, and provided interesting insight throughout the adventure. Awesome way to see some of the less visited areas in Manuel Antonio!
King Al leading the tour

With an adventure needed for our day off, my colleague and I decided on some kayaking and snorkeling. Possibly not the best day for it, the morning was glorious but the weather soon changed as we got to the boats.
Al the tour guide was awesome, whilst we were kayaking pointing out different and areas, and make the trip fun. He decided that I looked big enough ti kayak alone and he would go in a tandem with my buddy. This worked out well for me as I was hoping it would be single boats.
Snorkeling visibility wasn't great because of the rainfall. However, i preferred the kayaking anyway! We parked up on an island where we ate water melon and re hydrated figuring out if the rain was too much to kayak back through, Easy, we were soon flying over the waves back to our start point.
We had a couple from Seattle on tour with us too, they also seemed to enjoy it. After Al took us to a restaurant (Mira Olas) as part of the tour. A great way to finish a good afternoon!
Wonderful afternoon.

Alex was a great tour guide. He let us set the pace of the paddling and had lots of patience while we learned to kayak. He took us to a rocky outcrop that was teeming with colourful and varied fish--snorkeled for about 1/2 hour marveling at the.fish. We then stopped on the shore where he cut up a fresh pineapple served with cookies and cold water. After kayaking back to starting point he took us to dinner (make sure you bring dry clothes and a hair brush!) at a local restaurant.
